Hey y’all! My name is Madison. I’m a Cosmetic Tattoo/Permanent Makeup Artist based in the DMV area (Bethesda/Potomac, MD). Thank you for stopping by to get to know me. The goal is to let you in on who I am, why I became a cosmetic tattoo artist, and what my business is all about!

 

I’m a DMV native with a bit of southern charm. Born in NoVa, raised in PG County, but most of my family is from down south. 

 

I’ve been an artist my whole life. As a teenager, I loved to paint and draw. Over time, I developed an artistic eye. Fast forward to early adulthood, I became obsessed with makeup, tattoos, and all things creative. This is why I decided to become a cosmetic tattoo artist. It combines all of my interests and a skill set I’ve nurtured long before I joined the industry. After my apprentice period, I started my business, MLJ Cosmetics LLC. As of now, I take clients out of a lovely studio as an independent artist and single business owner (I do not work for the studio). I aim to use my talents to enhance the natural beauty you all already have! 

 

My second passion is in the healthcare field. I currently have a day career as a Public Health Analyst for the government. 

 

Outside of work I love travel, fitness, all forms of art, food, charity work and going out for a good time. I also enjoy taking more training and doing research on my craft.
